The Adventure Begins

The launch of Salu International’s online marketing program was a huge success with more than 5,000 people reserving member slots during the first week. But the launch was only the beginning of the adventure both for new distributors and the Salu staff.

Salu Chairman Ray Caron has been busy meeting with and entertaining Salu leaders and potential top earners from across the country. CEO Mark Barnes has been on the road visiting new distributors and helping everyone get up to speed on Salu’s innovative programs, which are already having a huge impact on the industry.

“Whenever possible, we’re taking a direct, hands-on approach to supporting our distributors in the field,” Barnes said. “We’re willing to do whatever it takes to help them succeed.”

At Salu headquarters near Atlanta, Georgia, Director of Operations Stacia Caron has been handling a tidal wave of orders coming into the system. In less than one week’s time, product shipments have tripled, but Caron said her job has been made easier by the enormous amount of preparation that went into designing Salu’s global distribution system.

“The response to our marketing launch has been incredible, but we were ready for it,” Caron said. “No matter how large or small an order or where it’s going, there isn’t anything we can’t handle -- fast!”

Accounting Manager Rayanne Harmon and Director of Information Systems Bridget Bartholomew are in charge of the final implementation of the company’s back office and data tracking systems. Anticipating an ever-increasing rush of activity in the weeks and months to come, they know one of the keys to success in any new business venture can be found in the company’s operational infrastructure.

“You can never be too prepared,” Bartholomew said. “We started with the most robust systems available, then we made them even better and more reliable.”
